Skills Assignment 1: Project Setup

Required Demos-n-Deets demos:

• Running Apps

Optional demos (for now): Everything else in the “Project Setup” section of the Demos-n-Deets.

Active Reading

Follow the general instructions for active reading for the above required demos.

What to submit:

• A screenshot of the web app that you ran in the Running Apps demo. The screenshot should show the http://localhost:3000/basket_ball_players page of the app with a new player added that has your name.

Important! All screenshots must include your computer’s desktop in the background so that it is recognizable as your desktop. Also, all screenshots of web pages must display the entire URL of the page in the browser’s location bar. (Watch out, as some browsers like to hide parts of the URL unless you click on it.)

Practice Test

There will be no practice test for this skills assignment.

Explanation Video

Before proceeding, be sure to read the general instructions for the explanation videos.

Task to perform:

• Run the app on the dogs-for-sale branch of this repository: https://github.com/memphis-cs/practice-apps-2021-01spring
• After the app is running add a new dog for sale and delete one of the existing dog listings.
